Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we were very limited to what we could do after our mini Covid-wedding in April. To avoid planes and crowds, we planned a roadtrip from Salt Lake through Lake Tahoe and the Sierras. The grand tour led us to kayak on Lake Tahoe and spend the night in a canvas tent in Yosemite’s Curry Village.

In all we spend about 2 days in each location, from hotel to hotel, it was certainly more of an adventurous honeymoon. So next time is promised to be more of a relaxing excursion.
One of our favorite moments was eating lunch at a picnic table in Yosemite Valley. We heated up some leftover meat on our skillet to make some delicious tacos and took in the views. It’s a place we always stop anytime we’re in the valley.
