In May of 2021, we trekked from the valley floor to the rim of Yosemite National Park. The trail led us up the southern side of the valley with almost 2,000 ft in elevation gain. We were welcomed with a 180° view at Stanford Point where we set up camp for two nights.
The trail took pretty much everything out of us – but as you can see, the views were worth it! After Stanford Point, we continued onward to Crocker and Stafford Points giving us even more of a vantage point to El Capitan and Bridalveil Fall.

We counted about 200 fallen trees throughout the trail, some small and others like this! We lost the trail a few times after the behemoths uprooted the trail, not to mention the traversing time it added.

Where were we…?
