Having already seen some classic heavy-hitter acts like Paul McCartney, the Eagles, David Crosby with Graham Nash, Fleetwood Mac, Steve Miller, Elton John, Robert Plant, and America… we couldn’t leave the Rolling Stones off this list. They may be touring right now but that surely doesn’t mean they will forever. I mean, Mick Jagger is 80!
Kaylyn and I saw the Stones in the new Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. We got there with plenty of time to spare (we thought) because the lines to just get a t-shirt was over an hour! Luckily, they didn’t start on time. But it isn’t rock and roll to be punctual, anyway. It’s still hard to believe that Mick Jagger is as old as he is, because he went hard for those 2.5hrs. Our highlight was “Gimme Shelter” when Jagger sang with an amazing woman singer touring with him (we didn’t get her name), but she killed it.
