We arrived to LA only one week after we got home from our UK trip. The timing was perfect, being fresh off this trip where Kaylyn and I saw some late night shows in the Cavern Club in Liverpool. We even saw Paul McCartney’s home and the building where he first met John Lennon!
Back in 2019 while Kaylyn and I were dating I went to see Paul McCartney but Kaylyn wasn’t able to join. Too bad, too, because it was the final show of his tour and the same show where Ringo Starr and Joe Walsh made appearances at the end of the night! Together they played some classics like Helter Skelter and The End. All was not lost because I ended up seeing that show with my dad and oldest brother for bonding time.
After COVID-19 and getting married, Kaylyn and I booked Paul’s new Got Back Tour on its stop in LA in May of 2022. He played for almost 3 hours and as you might guess he had no problem filling that time. Starting with early Beatles “Quarrymen” songs all the way through the Beatles discography, Wings hits, and his newest McCartney III.
