Wright Reunion ’23 at Yosemite

What better place for a Wright family reunion than Yosemite National Park! We found the absolute perfect place to stay within the park boundaries but outside of the hustle-bustle of Yosemite Valley. Not only that, but it was a 2min drive from the road to Glacier Point, and 20min drive to the Valley entrance!

Kaylyn and I spent 7 days with my whole family; the Wright kids and the Wright grandkids. Even my parents’ dog, Jaxon joined us! Even though we have both been to the park a few times, this time we had so many days that we really got to know the trails. We left feeling very satisfied with around 50 miles total trekked by the weeks end.

Wildlife! We didn’t see this bear, but we were certainly not far away. These tracks were a good enough size to keep an eye out around every curve. Then, the next day a snake crossed our feet on the Mist Trail.

Where were we…?
